It looks like VOiD808 may finally just get the break they need. This Orange County based alternative rock band has surely paid their dues over the six years that they have been together, with countless shows and endless nights of promotion and rehearsals. VOiD808 has found the perfect mix of piano with edgy guitars and has captured the youthful excitement of a pop rock band, while still harnessing the mature, yet driving, piano lead needed to separate them from the masses.
VOiD808 has shared the stage with national touring acts such as Something Corporate, Atreyu, Blue October, Plain White Tees, Over It, The Calling, Stroke 9, Veruca Salt, Pretty In Stereo, Rookie Of The Year, Alien Ant Farm, Saosin, The Daylights, Lorene Drive, Dustin Kensrue (Thrice) and many others.
Since the band's conception in 2003, they have released two studio albums, Soundtrack To Your Favorite Memory'; and 'After All Is Said And Done'. Both albums have seen sales success internationally via online distributors such as iTunes (USA-UK-Japan-Australia), CDBaby, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc. VOiD808 has also seen success in capturing the attention of today's mass social networking sites like MySpace. VOiD808 currently has over 90,000 fans, and averages 1,100 plays a day. Tracks from their latest release 'After All Is Said And Done'; are seeing regular rotation on many international internet based radio stations. In early 2009, VOiD808 inked a management deal with Blue Fusion Media and in November of 2009 the band caught the attention of producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, No Doubt, Hoobastank, Something Corporate, Alien Ant Farm). VOiD808 is confirmed to record an EP with Jim Wirt in Santa Monica, CA in the middle of February 2010. The new untitled EP is expected to be released late winter/early spring of 2010. With all the doors that have recently opened for VOiD808, you can be sure to hear more about them very soon.
